REFOLD:live - Bioinformatics, Monash University, Vic, Australia

This project was developed for the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Monash University, who were looking for a new direction for the interface of its internationally renowned protein refolding repository, REFOLD. This required the use of several web technologies, including PHP, AJAX, MySQL, CSS and Web Services.

Refolding Guide

This was a sister project to the above REFOLD:live site, whereby the requirement was to provide a new way of displaying scientific publications online.

The idea then took shape to allow sections of the publications to be displayed dynamically without the reader having to reload the page, and to embed some real-time information and statistics from the database.
